Around 11:45 a.m., Tuesday, Gonzales County Sheriff’s Office, DPS, Gonzales Fire Department and Gonzales EMS/Rescue responded to a one-vehicle accident at Highway US 183 North at Canoe Creek. According to officials on the scene, a red truck left the northbound lane, went through the guardrail and overturned, coming to rest down an embankment.
