Slideshow: Funnel clouds near Gonzales

Stormie Schulte, age 15, took this picture of a funnel cloud Tuesday at  about 5:15 p.m. during the thunderstorms. She reported she was on Sarah Dewitt Drive headed westbound. Krissy Pirkle, who reported she was on Lewis Street by E-Barr Feeds westbound toward Water St., spotted what may be the same funnel cloud at approximately the same time. No tornado was reported to have touched down during some severe rainstorms sweeping the area.
