Several Waelder citizens are questioning the validity of the results of the municipal election in Waelder on May 8. One of those people is Linda Mae Wilson, a resident of Waelder since 1982 and election judge since 1989. “All I want is for them to vote right,” Wilson said. “When they do this a person challenging them doesn’t have a chance to be elected.”
