Zoee Lynn Rivera - 2016-2016

Infant Zoee Lynn Rivera became one of our Lords tiny angels November 12, 2016. She is the daughter of Ruby Rangel and Mark Rivera of Gonzales. Also surviving are her grandmothers Elvira Rangel and Elizabeth Rivera of Gonzales; grandfather Mark Lopez of San Antonio; great-grandmothers Margarita Rangel of Mexico and Guadalupe Rivera of Smiley; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A Rosary will be recited 9:30 a.m. Saturday, November 19, 2016 at St. James Catholic Church followed by the Mass of the Resurrection at 10 a.m. with Reverend Paul Raaz officiating. Interment will follow at St. James Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements under the care and direction of Seydler-Hill Funeral Home Gonzales.

Ludwig Clement Molnoskey -- 1934-2016

Ludwig Clement Molnoskey, 82, of Gonzales, passed away Monday, September 19, 2016. He was born August 19, 1934 in Gonzales County, the son of John and Tracy Pekar Molnoskey. He grew up in the Pilgrim area, where his family farmed. He graduated from Gonzales High School in 1953. He served in the U.S. Army. While stationed at Fort Polk, Louisiana, he met Lucille Fontenot and they were married November 14, 1959. They moved to Gonzales where he began work with GVEC and retired after 37 years as an electrical inspector. He was a master electrician and owned and operated Molnoskey Electric. He loved to work, he enjoyed going out with his metal detector, coin collecting and tending his cattle. He was an avid baseball fan. He coached Little League and Junior League Baseball. And most of all spending time with his family especially his beloved grandchildren. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church.

Joel Nelson Lipscomb -- 1923-2016

Joel Nelson Lipscomb, born December 20, 1923 in Gonzales, passed away on September 5, 2016 at his home in McKinney. He served in US ARMY Air Forces, European Theater during WWII and received the Distinguished Flying Cross and Air Medal with three Oak Leaf Clusters. He was a graduate of Southwest Texas State College, 1951; and, University of Houston, 1964. He worked as a Research Chemist and Registered Pharmacist; and, was a 50-year member of Chemical Engineering Association. He was a lifelong Baptist and is survived by his wife Dell and sons Derrell Glen and wife Allison, of England; Joel Wade and wife Monica, of McKinney; daughter-in-law Palma, of Georgia; daughter, Lisa Armstrong and husband John, of Gonzales; Linda Menking, of Gonzales; Sharon Block and husband Tom, of Florida; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
