Building relationships with difficult people
The Apostle Paul was a great encourager of the churches. He often tells them, and of course each of us, to live peacefully among each other, to get along, work in harmony and of course to be unified in one Spirit.
Now to do this we must each have a relationship with Christ, like ourselves, and then we can live peacefully with others.
Elizabeth Brown said, “Relationships with screwed-up people are like dancing with a porcupine: You want to dance close enough to enjoy the waltz, but not so close you end up shot full of quills.”

In the new year, learn to forgive
Dear Editor:
Time passes so swiftly! It seems like only yesterday that I was running and playing in the back yard with my sister. Sometime while walking to school, I would pull the pig tails of little Diane. Then there was homework, chores, and milking the cows. I was a little cotton headed boy with big ears and freckles. Years have passed so quickly! Now, as I look into the mirror, I see wrinkles and gray hair; not only on my head but my eyebrows and yes, even in my ears. The good news is, the freckles are gone and I grew to my ears.
