GCUWCD to meet Tuesday

The Gonzales County Underground Water Conservation District's Board fo directors will hold a public hearing and meet in regular session beginning at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Gonzales County Courthouse.

The board will hold a public hearing to receive comments on the district's proposed tax rate. Board president Emmett Baker Jr. is scheduled to make comments just prior to the public comment portion of the agenda.

Following the hearing, the board will conduct its regular monthly meeting, which is scheduled to include approving the tax rate and approving the district's 2010-2011 budget.

Also on the agenda are possible approvals for well permit applications by Don Ford and Link Benson, as well as a discussion on the Attorney General's opinion on land annexed by the district and the PCCD.
