The Gonzales Cannon welcomes and encourages letters to the editor. Views expressed in letters are those of the writers and do not reflect the views and opinions of the publisher, editor, or staff of The Gonzales Cannon.
Submission of a letter does not guarantee publication. All letters are subject to editing for grammar, style, length, and legal standards.
Letter-writters may criticize sitting office-holders for specific policies, but active electioneering is prohibited.
The Gonzales Cannon does not publish unsigned letters. All letters must be signed and include the address and telephone number of the author for verification purposes. Addresses and phone numbers are not published.
Our online edition at gonzalescannon.com also welcomes reader comments on stories appearing in the paper, but posts by anonymous users or users registered under an alias will not be published.
