Comanches scalp Cougars, 52-0

WALLIS—Marlon Wallace rushed for 111 yards and three touchdowns Friday as the Shiner Comanches bounced back from a season-opening setback by victimizing the Brazos Cougars, 52-0.
Williams scored on runs of 4, 12 and 75 yards and Zach Lawrence added TD runs of 3 and 38 yards as the Comanches pounded out 357 rushing yards.
Evel Jones added a 2-yard scoring run in the opening period, while Brady Beal gathered in a 17-yard scoring pass from Wesley Patek as the Comanches built a 20-0 lead at intermission.
Caleb Curtis got Shiner’s final score on a 2-yard run.
The Shiner defense limited Brazos to just 79 total yards.
