Indians blank Bulldogs, 40-0

HALLETTSVILLE — The Sacred Heart Indians capitalized on a ball-control offense and five Flatonia fumbles Friday to pound out a 40-0 victory over the Bulldogs in non-district football action.

Sacred Heart (2-0) for two touchdowns each from Sterling Hrncir and Colby Mikes and the Indian defense held Flatonia to just 73 rushing yards. Hrincir finished with 105 yards rushing on the night on just eight carries.

Sacred Heart rolled up a 26-0 lead at halftime as Hrncir scored on a 26-yard run and a 30-yard run while Mikes added a 1-yard scoring dive. The Indians also got a TD pass from Jared Krischke to Roger DeLaRosa.

Mikes aded a 2-yard TD run in the third quarter, while Jonathon Vanek capped the scoring with a 1-yard TD in the final period.
