Hegar to headline Yoakum GOP event

Senator Glenn Hegar will speak at the Sept. 1st meeting of the Republican Women of Yoakum.  Hegar is the youngest member of the Texas Senate and a sixth generation Texan who farms on land that has belonged to his family since the mid 1800s.   Senator Hegar serves as the influential  Sunset  Advisory Commission Chairman, Chairman of the Legislative Sportman’s Caucus, and Vice Chairman of the Committe on Natural Resources.  Senator Hegar will speak on the upcoming legislative session and the Fall elections.  There will be a question and answer session following his speech.
The public is invited to come hear your State Senator and ask your questions.  Let your Senator hear from you on the issues facing our State.
  The meeting will be held at the Yoakum Community Center at 11:45 am . Lunch will be served.
